Just like in real life, there are 4 seasons included with the Seasons Mod. They are summer, autumn, winter, and spring. Each seasons lasts seven Minecraft days. After seben days there is a 30 Minecraft minute transition and the next season will start.
Summer is the hottest and most dangerous season in the Minecraft world.
  • All rain storms in the summer will be thunderstorms.
  • It will only rain in snowy biomes.
  • Wheat grows faster.
  • Staying in the desert too long without shade will hurt you.
  • Most of the excess plants on the plains will be destroyed from summer rain.
  • Snow in non-snowy biomes will melt.
As the temperatures cool and summer transitions in autumn, the vegetation of Minecraft will turn orange.
  • Grass and trees will change color.
  • You’ll get bonus wheat when harvesting during the autumn.
Winter is the coldest and second most dangerous time in Minecraft.
  • Every biome except for the desert will experience continuous snow during the winter. This will make the days darker.
  • The severe cold of the  Tundra, Taiga, and Ice Desert biomes will cause frostbite if you stay outside too much! This will cause damage and slow you down. You can prevent this by wearing full leather armor to protect you from the cold.
Spring is the plant season in Minecraft. As the days become warmer and brighter, plants will begin to grow on any grassblock with direct sunlight.
  • Tall grass, plants, and custom plants will grow on grassblocks.
Season Watch:
Right clicking on the season watch will tell you the current season, current season day, and the number of days left in the current season.
