Harvest Armor from Mobs with the Armor Mob Mod (1.7.2/1.7.10)

The Armor Mob mod for 1.7.2/1.7.10 adds new armor that can be gained from killing mobs. This armor gives you the strength, abilities, and looks of the mob it came from.

New Armor:

Zombie Armor – Transforms you into a zombie, gives night vision.

Zombie Villager Armor – Transforms you into zombie villager, has strength of villager and zombie combined.

Zombie Pigman Armor – Transforms you into zombie pigman. Gives fire resistance.

Villager Armor – Transforms you into villager and gives you strength of villager.

Skeleton Armor – Transforms you into skeleton, makes you stronger.

Wither Skeleton Armor – Transforms you into wither skeleton, makes you stronger.

Steve Armor – Gives speed 1 & jump boost 2.

Blaze Armor – Gives some buffs, fire resistant, transforms you into blaze, no fall damage!

Enderman Armor – Transforms you into enderman, makes you stronger, and gives you +30 hearts!

Iron Golem Armor – Transforms you into iron golem, eliminates fall damage, adds +90 heart points.

New Swords:

Wither Sword – 1000 uses, gives wither effect on hit, does 4 attack damage
Blaze Slasher – 1000 uses, sets enemies on fire, does 4 attack damage,shoots fireball on right click
Iron Smacker – 1000 uses, knocks enemies in to the air like iron golem does, does 12 attack damage – no crat yet
Pigman’s Sword – 1000 uses, does 8 attack damage, on right click activates pigmans anger mode, and gives you some buffs

Flesh Cutter – 1000 uses, does 8damage, poisons entities who is living type not undead and gives hunger

Steve’s Diamond Sword – 1000 uses, does 7 attack damage, on right click gives 4 bonus hearts!
Steve’s Diamond Pickaxe – 1000 uses , does 5 damage, on right click places torches, hint only if you have coal

Download the Mob Armor Mod for 1.7.2/1.7.10:


  1. Locate your Minecraft.jar file.
  2. Open Minecraft.jar using Winrar and delete the META-INF folder
  3. If you haven’t already installed Forge, drag the files from the forge zip file into Minecraft.jar.
  4. Run Minecraft once
  5. Drag the mob armor .jar file into the .minecraft/mods folder.
  6. Play!
