The MoCap mod, or Motion Capture mod for 1.6.4 lets you record the motion of your and replay it back. This is perfect for recording Minecraft movies without having to create new characters.

– Create your own space ship from any blocks (excluding bedrock) and sail it trough space.

The Deconstruction mod for 1.6.4/1.7.2 adds a new table that can give you back the materials used to make an item.
Put the item you want to deconstruct into the first box to break it down. You can then scroll through the different recipes for that item and take the items.

The StarMine mod for 1.6.4 is a Japanese mod that lets you build planetoids with their own gravity system. It also lets you add gravity to individual blocks, allowing you to walk upside down and on walls.
Needs to be put in the middle of your planetoid.
Right click on it to open its GUI:
Adjusting its StarRad will change the strength of its gravity. The G-Rad will adjust the orbital speed of anything around the planetoid.

The CustomSteve Mod for 1.6.4 lets you play as any 3D model. This mod is based off of the Hatsune Miku character, and comes with her built in. You can also use custom animations for these models.
When using a 32 bit computer, only the Miku model will show up. On a 64 bit computer, any model can be used. This mod comes with several built in.
Custom character can be installed using PMD and VMD files. These can be found online with a quick Google search. Put the files in the .minecraft/CustomSteve\models folder.
