Browse the Web in Minecraft with the Web Display Mod (1.6.2)
The Web Display mod for 1.6.2 adds a real web browser to the game. This web browser is made of 16×9 screen blocks and when activated can be used to do things like watch videos, listen to music, check Twitter/Facebook, browse forums, and more. This mod can be used with multiplayer, but each player can only see their screens.
You will need to craft 144 screen blocks to make a 16×9 screen:
Set up your screen and right click on it to turn it on. Shift-Right Click to change the URL. Make sure to include the http:// before the URL. Then right click on the screen to click it.
To type on the screen, you will need to craft a keyboard and a keyboard linker:
When it’s done, place your keyboard wherever you want. Now, right-click the screen with the linker and then then the keyboard. Just right-click it with nothing in the hand, type whatever you want, and press Escape when you are done.
