Add Doom Mobs to Minecraft with this Mod (1.6.2)
The Lycanite Mobs mods for 1.6.2 adds new mobs to the nether from Doom. These evil mobs are all aggressive and can be killed for their resources.
Small demons that shoot fireballs. Although they are relatively weak, they often travel in groups.
Behemoths are huge demons that throw balls of hellfire. They are very strong but rare. You can flee them by hiding somewhere with a low ceiling as they are two blocks tall.
Hellfire burns longer than regular fire and has a green tinge. Upon death, Behemoths drop Hellfire Charges which can be used to light Hellfire on blocks much like a Fire Charge. They can also be used in a dispenser.
Pinkies are fast, tough, and aggressive creatures that eat any mobs it comes across. Unlike other Nether creatures, it is vulnerable to fire. Pinkies drop Raw Pinky Meat. Eating raw Pinky Meat restores a lot of hunger but also has a high chance of causing a long wither effect. Cooked Pinky Meat not only restores a lot of hunger (more than chicken and less than beef) but it also grants a strength boost.
Trites are small insect like demons. They are poisonous and one bite can indude a wither effect. They have the ability to climb walls and travel in large numbers. Trites drop string and spider eyes.
These mechanical demons are merciless and will fire a steady stream of Devil Star projectiles. Iron and Redstone
can be salvaged from their corpses but their corpses are often guarded by Trites.
Nether Souls will drift through the skies until they see an unsuspecting target which they’ll charge at a high
speed to attack. Upon death, Nether Souls will unleash a small explosion! It is highly recommended to take them out
at range or with Blast Resistant armor. They drop Bones, Gunpowder and Blaze Powder.
